About Me

I have a passion for local black history. At a time where our black history is legislatively being erased state by state, I’m on a mission to preserve it. I was taught by my mother “if you don’t know your history, you’ll repeat it”. Majority black cities with black businesses and black culture should be celebrated, not regulated. Pride is a better adjective to describe how black city was born. And I represent these cities and this history with pride. *Statistical information is based on the 2020 Census
